PRACTICE STAFF

Practice Manager - Mr Mel Gibbs

The practice manager is responsible for the day to day running of the practice and liaises with all partners and members of staff.

Deputy Practice Manager - Mrs Joy Wren

Mrs Wren is directly responsible to the practice manager, deputising in his absence and ensuring the smooth running of the practice on a day to day basis.

Practice Administrator - Mrs Amanda Bowen

Mrs Bowen is directly responsible to the deputy practice manager and deals with all registrations. Mrs Bowen can also be contacted for all insurance forms, solicitors' reports and copies of notes for those patients who are emigrating.

Secretary - Mrs Sally Allen

Mrs Allen deals with all referrals, medical examinations etc and should be contacted directly if you require such items.

Receptionists

Our receptionists are there to help. We employ eight receptionists who are directly responsible to the deputy practice manager. They should be contacted in the first instance with any request or query.

Practice Nurses

We have three practice nurses: Bev Bright, Debbie Gwilliam and Sue Clark. They offer a comprehensive range of general nursing services including our travel clinic, contraception and treatment for minor ailments such as warts, verrucae etc.

Health Care Assistant

Our HCA, Linda Fitton, carries out blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECGs and new patient checks.

District Nurses

Our team of four district nurses are based at St Julian's and can be contacted on 01633 225800.

Health Visitors

The health visitors are based at Cadoc House. Both they and a nursery nurse can be contacted on 01633 421850.
