New Appointments Policy
In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, as of Monday 16 March 2020 until further notice our appointment system will operate as follows:
- Our reception team will ask you for brief details regards the nature of the problem and also specific screening questions regards symptoms relevant to the Coronavirus outbreak.
- You will be given an approximate time to expect a call back. Please have your phone at hand. Our Doctors will not have capacity to attempt to contact you several times and if you miss our calls you may be instructed to contact the practice another day.
- If the Doctor thinks it is appropriate, safe and necessary to conduct a face to face consultation they will offer this. Please have your diary to hand so that they can arrange this if possible at the end of your telephone consultation and save valuable time.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE SURGERY UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO DO SO BY ONE OF OUR DOCTORS.
- For existing appointments booked prior to Monday 16th March we will make every effort to contact you to confirm a telephone consultation. If you have not heard directly from our reception team or one of our Doctors, please assume your appointment will now take place by telephone at approximately the same time as the previously arranged face to face consultation.
Routine blood tests, blood pressure checks, chronic disease reviews and smear tests have been suspended pending further notice.
