Prescriptions

NEW PROCEDURES FOLLOWING CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK

Authorised 'repeat' prescriptions should be ordered using an existing My Health Online account, or alternatively by phone or through liaison with local pharmacies who may order on your behalf.  If none of these options are possible patients can still make a request using their prescription counter-slips, but we ask you post the paper counter-slip in the new external post box (yellow and black markings) we have fixed to the front railings of our main surgery building

If you have a prescription waiting for collection from the surgery please contact us and we will send your prescription directly to a local pharmacy.

If you speak to a Clinician on the phone and are prescribed medication we will send this prescription to a local pharmacy.

Where it is appropriate, and in line with Health Board advice, we are post-dating authorised repeat prescriptions so that you do not have to repeatedly call through for further issues of long-term medications for stable and well controlled conditions.

Please note the Surgery requires 48 hours to process your prsecription request to ensure that you receive your medication on time. Please check the schedule below when putting in your request. Prescription boxes are emptied regularly and date stamped.
